Imagine: A new disease is spread. 3 people die. The next day not only 3 but 30.000, and then it gets worse and worse. People from all over the world gather and pray for a cure. Scientists are working hard to find a cure. Suddenly, you hear that they have identified the DNA code of the Virus and it's possible to create an antidote, but they first need pure blood to do so. You take your whole family to the hospitals to see if your blood is pure. They find out that the only person whith pure blood is your youngest son. They ask you for permission to use his blood, and you ask how much they are going to use. "We never knew it could be a child so we have to use all of his blood". It appears that there's no other way, so you're forced to sign the authorization.... A week later, a ceremony is made to honor your son, but people prefer to stay home watching a football game, sleeping or partying. The first thing that goes into your mind is: CAN'T YOU SEE MY SON DIED FOR YOU? Now picture what God is trying to tell us. Jesus interpreted by scholars |
