God, this is just... I have no words. And I don't mean that in a positive way at all. I just hope someone takes over this board and turns it into a RPG or into a general-discussion board. Because, without the support board, a forum service can not exist. iPBFree had their support board running on vBulletin and it simply didn't make any sense. ziF & ZB were all using the same software for their support board. Jcink is using the same software for their support board as their users on their service.

Seriously, this is all that remains of ZetaBoards. Also, I agree with sugar puff and Gaomon274. We've been screwed over. The paywall era of free hosted forums has officially begun with this service massively buying out other forum hosts. Until I can't afford a server and a licensed forum software, I won't be starting any big boards at least. Smaller ones... maybe. But not bigger ones.

Yeah I had looked at paid ones,like VBulletin and IPB..but the acp!! nightmare! I’m happily with pro boards now. A lot have gone with Jcink,which is very similar to IF. h

My impression of Tapatalk is that they're somehow even worse at communication than Brandon was, especially given how even Brandon was taken by surprise that the support board was migrating already.

Brandon has his faults but we don't need to attack him because we are upset. Sure he sold ZB and this was the end result but it was a fun ride while it lasted but at the end of the day Brandon had to do what he had to do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and I'm not going to fault him for it.

As far as his lack of communication that's really just Brandon but in this case over the migration period that's really Tapatalk. We don't know what his terms of employment are but he isn't working directly with anyone on the support board so it's on the development side and hopefully over time we'll see the touch of Brandon through Tapatalk. If you stayed with the service. More TT representation here should have happened... But I digress on that topic. So far TT staff on their end have been helpful to me directly but who knows in the long run.

And I don't know if Brandon even reads this thread but I do want to thank him over attacking him. He's given a lot of us good memories by running this service and it hasn't been easy but nonetheless thanks Brandon for doing the best you could.

Also I want to thank the support team one last time. You gals and guys have rocked over the years. See you all around!
