Overall it seems to have a wider variety of games that makes it more worth your money. X-box has some good games too, but the variety of titles is extremely limited if you ask me.

PS2 has much better gameplay on thier games and the varity is much wider. I would recommended KillZone. It rocks my scoks. Also if you like 'soccer' (like me) you'll find that it has the best Game for it ever to be created. Pro Evolution Soccer 4(Which surprisingly has superb graphics for the PS2. It's my perfect game). Ain't avalible on Xbox. Also if you like having 1 big Chunky controller and not being able to find that little one for the Xbox, go for the xbox by the way ~~a lot~~ all of the Xbox sport games are on PS2 and look the same in graphics.

'cause that's what its all about in the end, the games you like is what you should judge a console on. so look for the one with the games that appeal to you most, we can't decide that for you

There are two colours in my head. Posts: 90 Group: Members Member #23,725 Joined: July 8, 2004	wow this reminds me of how immaturely people acted when I was in primary school, and there was the whole Nintendo 64 vs. Playstation battle... In the end, it should be your own decision as to what you want to buy - just go to your friends houses and play on each (if you can) to see which you prefer. Although I do have one piece of advice - if you want to play first person shooters, then I advise buying neither of these consoles, as most of the time, the controls for FPS games on consoles are REALLY bad. The only FPS controls on consoles that I've been able to handle were those on Perfect Dark and Goldeneye on N64. Then again I guess you can get used to any controls given a great enough time period... *TheEnigma goes away now*

And i've never even played on one before, bu already i'm convinced I don't like it. So I suggest getting a PS2 IMO, xboxs are a hideous size, and everyone I know has had trouble with them very shortly after they got them. For example, my friend's brother got one and on the same day he had to take it back. Another friend of mine has one, and within a few days it's already not working properly. Dunno about graphics and stuff, but I do know it's a rediculous size and it breaks. PS2 on the other hand, is great IMO. I've had no trouble at all with it, and the same friend of mine that's got one as well as an xbox, has had his PS2 for 2 years and it's still working fine. So yeah, PS2. Now I do hope i've not let myself in for a mouthful from someone who likes xbox :ph34r:

The PS2 has oustanding games, and the the controller is probaly better to control. The Xbox has not that much of good games, but the controller is horrible. And a lot of buttons to know. The PS2 has OK graphics and the only console too own Adult-rated games. The Xbox has Excellent graphics, but no only some Matuer-rated games, and no Adult-rated games. So you pick.

Many more, these are just a small pick from my own collection. Project Gotham Racing :X Never got along with that game. Never even heard of most of those. And sure, It has a few more good titles other than Halo and Fable, i just meant PS2 has, as i said, Final Fintasy, GTA, Gran Turismo, Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil, and many more games that stand out as being the best games in their Genre, where as X-Box only really has Halo and Fable for that. Although Fable not so much. Most games available for PS2 are already out for Xbox (such as GTA) or will be coming out for it in the future. In fact GTA, Mortal Kombat and Silent Hill are already out, FF is coming (unless they already released it without me noticing :wacko:) along with an updated RE series (although I heard that's not due for a few years) although I'm not sure about GT but IMO car games suck :/ Really, PS2 and Xbox are 98% similar it's only the graphics and certain games that that differ. I'd choose Xbox, next best thing compared to a PC while the PS2 lacks in certain quality aspects. I also think the controller is far too dinky, Xbox controller fits perfectly in your hand and allows for more controls to be added. Plus most games that are available for PS2 are coming out or are already out for Xbox anyway so you get quality and hundreds of games Oh and of course there's the fact Xbox holds much much more memory than PS2 and doesn't require memory cards (always always always hated them ever since PS1 >_<)
