I ahve an xbox myself and have played ps2 at my relatives house many times. Lots of people say the xbox controller sucks but I think it is years ahead of Ps2. I have rather big hands and those little miniscule ps2 controllers are pathetic. With the xbox controller you can wrap your hands around it easily and it is more comfortable. Also the buttons are easier to press and you must be seriously mentally and physically handicapped if you can't handle the buttons on it.

The sound, graphics and power of the machine is far, far ahead of the PS2. From the games point of view it has many games that are brilliant to play. Halo 1, Halo 2, Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, GTA: 3 and Vice City, 007 Agent Under Fire, Amped Freestyle Snowboarding, Azurik Rise of Parathia, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Burnout, Commandos 2, Conflict: Desert Storm, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex, Dead Or Alive 3, Dead To Rights, Enter The Matrix, FIFA 2004, Baldur's Gate : Dark Alliance, Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance II, Battle Engine Aquila, Brute Force, DRIV3R, KOTOR, Fable, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, Full Spectrum Warrior, Van Helsing, Hitman 1, Hitman 2 and lots, lots more. If these games don't please you then I don't know what will. Besides all the PS2 games I have played weren't really that good. So either my relatives buy crappy ps2 games or they aren't really that good.

Although I also agree it is entirely in the eyes of the beholder. People see things differently.

 I own all three systems, graphics wise the x-box is best, though each system has there own distinct advantages/disadvantages, it also depends on the tyope of games you play, though I admit since getting my X-box my GC and PS2 have been put on the back burner.

 I think the best console ever made are pc`s, they can take evry game you want, and can get any graphics you want [ovcourse depending on your graphics card.] but any way the best is x-box, its more unique from PS2 the only reason PS2 have more games is becuase theyve been out for longer, and becuase sony are more expected to do this kind of console rather then microsoft, i think this becuase when X-Box came out a lot of people where afraid to get it from qoulity of games and graphics lke most of have said here that X-Box is beeter at.

so yea ide defenaitly go for x-box with out a dbout.

 must agree that there are some absolutly OWNAGE games for the Xbox, and the graphic are very good as well, but it's not like ps2 dodn't have any good games. i think dark cloud and dark cloud 2 own... the ps2 has allot more games, but allot of the xbox's games are high quality... would pick the Xbox i think - hard choice :unsure:

 I went out and bought a PStwo because my old one broke... it was a worthy investment, even though i know the ps2 is underpowered compared to the XBox. It still has some class games on it, mainly San Andreas.

i want the final fantasy's. and NOT the FFXI mullet but the "real" ones like FFX. FFVII came to PC but that version sucked, so you get my point? same with most games i like on consoles, they are NOT on pc so saying that the PC can get "every game i want" is bullmullet.

sure the xbox has more power than the PS2/cube, but i rather have a console with many cool games though its not as powerfull as the console wich has not even 5 cool games.

but as i said before, that's just for me, you like your games, i like mine. though when going to judge a console itself, then the xbox is best, 'cause it... just is :yes: .

 If you're going to get the XBox because of all the praise its graphics are getting, you shouldn't buy it.

IMO, PS2 has a much better game selection.

Of course, I go with GameCube, but..... :P
