 I just bought a new computer and am tihnking of using te old one as a web server. Which Linux would be ideal for web hosting (small)? I was looking on the site and was thinking Debian, but I have absolutely no experience with Linux, so if anyone is familiar with it, it'd be awesome if you oculd tell me a little bit about it. |

Oh please, for the love of Tux, not Debian. You will start crying and / or your brain will spontaneously explode. SuSE, Fedora, and Gentoo all work well as servers. |

Seems the computer we were GOING to use as our server....:'( was basically destroyed last night. My dad was tinkering with some of the hardware, leaving the casing off. Then my mom doesn't see it, trips on it and crushes the motherboard, cpu, and ripped a few wires. So no hosting for moi. T'was a good computer on its on too. |

Let's not give too much stock to me and what I say, even if things that save you money are in bold. |
