 I'm trying to make a script that will output different images depending on the time.

the problem is, I don't know jack mullet about PHP and I need this made.

basically, if the time is between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, then it diplays image b.png, in not, then defaults to image a.png

If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be a great help!

 First off, I suggest you read information about date() and time(). Perhaps even microtime() will be an interesting read for you. Anyway. To achieve the effect you're after try using localtime(). Hope that helps and if you need any clarifications don't hesitate to ask.
