I have recently downloaded Thunderbird so that I can set-up POP access with my Gmail account. However, Outlook Express somehow took my Gmail info from Thunderbird and now resets itself as the default mail program over and over again. I have constantly reinstated Thunderbird as my mail client but Outlook overrides it every time. <_< What should I do? :/ |

Do you have Windows XP Service Pack 1 or higher? If so you could try Start > Set program access and defaults. In there, drop down the 'Custom' section. Under 'default e-mail program', choose the 'Mozilla Thunderbird' radio button and you could even uncheck the box which says 'Enable access to this program' for Outlook Express. Then choose OK and see if that helps |

You could also just get rid of Outlook altogether.
