I've heard that(and this is old) Nintendo got a patent and could make Xbox take off a few features from live. Anyone here heard this? |

Whoever said that, that's a lie. But I don't want to go in too much, do to copyright laws. But if this was true--why would they want too? Nintendo has only three games that can hook up 'online'. |

lol, thnx for making me laugh so early in the morning :w00t: . anyway, nintendo can NOT make microsoft trash away the voice com feature, simply because it is already used by them way before nintendo did, and it even was used way back on the PC. they can't let microsoft trash that. though you got a point with the next console, IF they could make sure that only the N21 can use voice com, that would be some blow. but they can't, that would not be possible  . i mean, i can't go to some company doing file patent business and say "i take patent on webcams" or sumthing. it has already been used so there must be a patent on it already. right? else it will be a strange thing.where'd you get all this anyway? |

ah, so they already had a sort of patent before xbox live came. and now they put the rest with it so only nintendo may do that online stuff. smart move, wonder what microsoft and sony will do? |
