So.. I hope this is the right place to post this, if not, mods... be merciful...

Anyway, just post how old you were when you finally were really good at it.

Umm.. and if you don't want to give out personal information, you don't have to post here.

Heh . . . I don't know how you would define 'really good.'

I started learning JavaScript after I was acquainted with the basics of HTML, from HTML Goodies, their JavaScript Primers are pretty good. That was back in March/April 2004, when I was 14. I'm 15 now, and I avoid JavaScript unless it is absolutely necessary. I know enough to use it when I need it, but I also know where to look if I need more information.

I never bothered the learn Javascript. Once I learned HTML and CSS, I went on to PHP and MySQL.

I know nothing except HTML. Does anyone know a good tutorial on Visual Basic? I'm trying to learn than but the tutorial is in Russian and I can't read Russian too well.

I can't say I actually learned it. It is somewhat similar to other languages I already knew.
But I started doing things in Javascript some 14 months ago, I think.

Er.. a year and a half ago or so. It was actually WWX's codes that inspired me to start learning how to code. After I knew the basics I pretty much stepped on to learning PHP though.
