Is it safe? Can my account on a board be cracked because I'm using it? It seems like a great tool, but it also seems like a security problem (I trust it somewhat though, because it's from Firefox, and not IE).

I have used it forever and never had a problem. It dosn't increase problems it decreases them, because you don't have to rember all your passwords. :D

Quantum-locked when observed.

I agree, it's one of Firefox's best features (I know that IE stores passwords, but with Firefox it's so easy to get to them . . .)

Although of course there is always a security risk involved when you're storing data on your computer, but I've never had a problem with the password manager. . . .

Its a good feture, but sometimes when I want to use a different password for a forum, it automatically puts in the one stored. >_<
There's also a Firefox Extention called "SecurePassword Generator"... it seems useful.

I'm the only one that uses my computer, so I let it save the passwords. Since a lot of my university information (like grades, schedule, etc.) are kept only in online databases, I have a lot of logging in to do everywhere. It makes it easy if the password and stuff are stored so I can just hit enter.
