Outlook Express help needed :(; import/export address book stuffs

 Almost forgot to post this. >_<

So, let me start off by saying I know pretty much nothing about Outlook or Outlook Express.
I've been helping my boss and his wife with some computer stuff and ran into a bit of a glitch.

Basically, she had an old computer and wanted to get rid of it and put everything on the new one they just got.
Don't ask me why she wanted everything, as I have no idea, and I doubt she does either.
So, rather than spend a day figuring out what exactly her definition of "everything" entailed, I decided to just remove her hard drive and install it in the new machine as a secondary.
Blah blah blah.

Now we come to the problem.
I didn't really think much about the OE address book, as I assumed it would be something like IE favorites, and I could easily access and import it, but apparently that's not the case, or I just can't figure it out.

Seems I was supposed to use the built-in export feature to save the whole thing as a .wab file, which I could then import later. >_<
So, the only thing I can think of doing at this stage is to go in and set it up to boot to the old drive, run OE and export, then change the settings back to boot normally and then import it, which just doesn't appeal to me at the moment, especially since I'd have to drive 30 minutes just to get to their house, because there's no way in hell she'd be able to follow the instructions over the phone, so I'm wondering if anybody knows an easier way. :/

Then please, switch her to Thunderbird. Open mail format that can be imported into anything :(
