actually, that was what i thought at first. games aint cheap to begin with, andt hen they charge 12 dollars a month for online play?

but as Iostream said, they need to keep the servers running for over a MILLION people who play it. they need GameMasters for all servers, they need to have dev's fix the bugs and add in new stuff that we are all screaming for. those people need to be paid, they need money to get all this happen, and we give them that money, and yes there are still many bugs in the game, but they deserve the money.

I thought paying monthly was rediculous too, until I played beta and saw how much goes into this game. Even if you pay monthly, 15 dollars each month is the most expensive and that's 50 cents a day...If you can play a little everyday when you get home from work/school then it's worth it. I mean most games at an arcade are at least 50 cents and last only a couple minutes. I can understand why it seems like a rip off at first, but once I played I completely understand why you have to pay each month.

50$ to buy the game

14.99 per month if you only buy one month at a time
29.95 + tax if you buy a 60 day game card
13.99 per month if you buy a 3 month subscription
12.99 per month if you buy 6 month subscription

IT IS WORTH IT

Not when you onley get paid 5$ an hour

simple, check the map for the capitals, go there and look for the 2nd village( its what i call it, you start at 1st vill, then you go to the second one and the capital is third ), there's mostly low level enemy NPC and players, but no lvl 55 guard standing on the road to the village( but there are guards on the road when going to the 1st vill).

buy 2 or 3 video games this year and figure out how to put in over 30+ days of game time. thats 30*24. its not even possible to do with 3 FF games. i dont think its the fact that its expenisve. its more of the fact that your a cheap internet rat like i used to be. now this job thing allows me to use curency for the trade of goods such as a game that takes up all my boredom time. have fun playing runescape (mocks all who refuse to pay for games since they get stuck with terrible games like runescape)

Actually, you do have a point, but it is still overpriced for what it delivers. They try to squeeze mony out of you any way they possibly can. Oh, and I hate RuneScape. :qb:
