I am in some circumstances. In 2 subway stations downtown, the journey to daylight includes at least 3 sets of escalators. Going up is fine cus I know not to look behind me  but going down them, o my. The journey down if I fell!!! (err tripped). Legs get a bit wobbly, better hold the railing .

Not at all. Though I wouldn't go hopping on one foot at the edge of a cliff or anything. If anyone's ever in St. Louis, Missouri, you should go up in the Gateway Arch. http://images.google.com/images?svnum=20&h...&q=gateway+arch It's cool for a variety of reasons, but one of them is that it's made up of triangular sections which make it so the top section where the viewing windows are is shaped like a V, with the windows at the top of the V, so when you look down, you can actually look backward underneath the thing to stuff on the other side. Like you're floating in mid-air. |

I'm not terrified with heights but when I was riding up the full window view of the CN tower, man what a hair raising even that was. And walking, even laying down the glass floors was pretty scary. I guess it's just one of those things that make you feel icky as well...when you're looking down the floors, there is nothing but a foot of glass and a very long fall. |

I hate heights, funny thing is when im up at about 35,000 feet in an airplane, i dont mind, which is surprising cause i always get window seats. But anything else, I get scared, heck, i went to sears tower once in chicago, went all the way up to the observation deck, but never went near the edge. |
