mouse problem

 reciently, ma mouse has gone wacky


it keeps goin all over and clickin all over, closin stuff n other stuff outrageous


is this:

1) a virus
or
2) a stuffup with the mouse

 erm .. without looking at it ..

if its laser and goin wackey ide say get anew one ...

but if it has a ball inside ide say try taking out the ball and cleaning the 3 small wheels inside ...

 It wouldn't be the mouse if it's clicking by itself.

Sounds like a virus or trojan to me.

 It's a virus. i had it one time. thought it was the mouse i got a new mouse and it kept doing the same thing. so i got rid of the virus

 It could also be a friend (or enemy, I guess) mulleting with you by using the Remote Desktop feature if somebody's been silly enough to enable it. :lol:

 I had this happen, my connection cable was falling out and it kept jumping around.
And then I had a crappy mouse with the cable in fine, and it jumps really quick and click out of windows.

When it does this does it go really really fast almost to the point where you can't see where it's going?
That's what happened to me.

 also, my connection cam sometimes stuff up.......bigstyle


it is connected, but sometimes when i have mozilla or internet open it wont find any pages......and it refuses to disconnect......so i have to pull plug on pc


that by the sounds of it is a dial up trojan


and i think the dial up trojan has enabled r.d.f and they have taken control without me knowing


but i restored my pc with the cd 2 days ago and a few days ago before that also

 Take your mouse ball out and clean it and make sure the insides of the mouse aren't messed up.

If it's a laser mouse then clean it.

If it doesn't help it may be your movement ground or your mouse's processor/cpu's interpreter(sp?) is jacked. Just get a new mouse.

 no way am i gettin a new mouse


this is the 3rd mouse


its a smooth surface and inside of the mouse is fine


here are the pc probs i have:

mouse goes all over and is clickin everywhere
pc can be slow some times
internet stays connected when i disconnect, and so when it does i have to pull plug on it

 Why don't you go on google and search up Stinger by Macafee and run a virus scan. Then use Ad-Aware of Spy Sweeper to clean out ads. Then scan disk and defragment your computer.

After you're done with that go to run and type in msconfig and uncheck all the starter up boxes and restart your computer and if it's still messing up then it's your mouse.
