also community mod doesn't help with support tickets, I think they can view them but they can't answer them.

Actually if you look on the Moderating list, all mods and support team have global access to every board.

The difference as far as I'm aware is that Moderators are primarily positioned to look after the community, dealing with problems and such, while Support Team deals with giving out support, support tickets, etc but can also moderate.

I guess you could say Mods are like security guards while Support are the blokes/women standing behind the Information Desk, handing out help and grunting at the idiots. :P

We technically deal with different things, but the Support Team also deal with moderation if they see things.

Basically, the Support section is their domain, they answer the support tickets. Us Community Moderators can't reply to the support tickets, so the rest of the forum we deal with. However, the Support team moderate too.

Twilight is upon me, and soon night must fall.

And some com mods give support in the forum. I guess the basic difference is blue does tickets. purple doesn't.

^ that's true. I'm rarely seen in the support forums... but then again, thats possibly a good thing, seeing as i've never used an InvisionFree ACP before :P (bar tiny things here and there)

Because i'm so damn sexy.

I've used InvisionFree forums, which is how i ended up here, and then one thing led to another, and i got on the graphics team, and then the community moderator team. Thats how i managed, i didn't get on staff through my support (like the larger group of support team did).

However, i most definitly will be playing around with IF2 :)
