A good free movie maker thing...; that can be downloaded off the net

or... of how to save WMM projects in some format other than .MSWMM?

In the program, choose File -> Save Movie File

That will let you save your movies as .wmv files.


I find that Movie Maker locks up quite a bit so save often so u dont lose your project.


Oh ya, if you want to be able to make changes to your project, you will have to keep a .MSWMM file around because once you save a .wmv file you cant re-open it in movie maker.

 well the thing I use came with my vido recorder.

and thats pritty good buy a recorder and see if it works then but I have a xp if you do not have one then it might not work.
