VERY BAD. it wasnt scary at all and totally predictible, but i dont think im a good judge because i dont think "It" was scary or the exorcist, either of them.

One of the better horror films since the exorcist. Just on a side note, I didn't think 'The Grudge' was scary at all. All through out the movie, I felt as if there was a giant plot hole. The characters didn't even seem to be fully developed to me. It's my guess that whoever was supposed to have developed the characters and plot for that movie was taking a nap instead of doing their job.

With her stupid facial expressions, and not to mention that hollywood converted a (prity good) asian movie, into a hollywood joke. Yeah the days of true horror movies are somewhat over. You'll never beat the likes of Lucio Fulci, Sam Raimi, David Cronenberg & many more i didn't mention. It's all special effects, and no really story lines and nothing that will have the hairs on the back of your neck standing on end. Ravens opinion on current horror movies: Horse Crap. Nothing more, nothing less.

I was pretty disapointed. Every now and then a new horror movie that is very good comes out. But not in 2004.

When I saw the remake I just wanted to mullet slap Buffy most of the time, ugh <_< The Ring was a lot better in the jap version too... you guys really need to learn to read subtitles giggles I thought Darkwater was SUPER scary and spooky, but I bet the american remake will be kinda lame... just a hunch The shining has got to be one of my favorite horror movies and I haven't seen the remake. Texas Chainsaw Massacre rocks - the remake is not very good. What the hell is up with all these remakes anyways <_< Oh and I still haven't seen the boogeyman hahaha

The Shining is a masterpeice. No film (Or cast) could portray the unhinging of Sanity as well as it did.
