 I watched 3 classic movies from the 80's last night... Teen Wolf, The Lost Boys and Fright Night. Man, the 80's were the coolest!
I'm reminiscent of the days where I could get on my skateboard and vibe out to the sound of Huey Lewis and the News in my ear...aaahhh... B)
Anyone else feel the same?

 I'm with mathiaus I'm more of a 60's early 70's guy.... and I like the early 80's ..but sorta skip the late 80s till the 90s and then skip the late 90s. (92-96 were some of my best years in music)

I like 80;s music, much better than alot of today's.

Same with me, well metal and rock wise. Today it's all:

"oh man, I'm so totally punk/gansta! I love to be labeled as a mindless consumer drone with zero opinions of my own! I love to try to act exactly like everyone else, I mean, that's what being a unique individual is all about...right?"

But hey, the music back then was still good. That's all I care to say.

 lost boys was a quality film!

i was only around till the end of the 80's... and even then i was only concerned about eating and sleeping (actually, that sounds about what i'm like now... weird eh?)

 Sorry, but I absolutely dispise of all this old stuff, particularly music >_<

Although not all of it I guess, if it weren't for some old things, we wouldn't have half of much as we have today (eg. computers, Internet, IF! :o)

But I just hate all the old stuff there is today, like all this old music played day-in-day-out on the radio for example. As if there is no modern, new stuff in the world.

But that's just my personal opinion. I don't think my opinion is right and everyone else is wrong, and I don't want to be getting into massive fights :ph34r:

Each to their own I guess :/

 The 80's were cool but the reason you feel this way about it now is because there is a stereotypical look on the 80's nowerdays. The 80's weren't just cheesy acting and macho songs... it was like the renaisance period of art, media, muisc, movies... everything! I think slowly... people are trying to go back to the 80's, to recreate to vibe the 80's had.
In the words of Huey Lewis..."We're gonna go back in time!"
