I thought how the ads were before were perfect... not too friggin addy, so proffesional for even the most sophisticated of messageboards. and not too little addy so u they wont get noticed... i do wish u'd keep them how they were! |

ok, that's not positive feedback! lol. The ads will probably be here to stay forever, unless DuffMan becomes a billionaire, or money starts growing on trees - so I guess it's just a case of how you want them displayed. I'd prefer the choice in the Admin CP for you to choose on your board where they go, Top Banner or Bottom (stacked), or even more options would be nice. Again though, it isn't really up to us at the end of the day, if the ads don't bring in the revenue that DuffMan/Nick need, there'll be no service. |

The box at the bottom we have now isn't as bad as the huge rectangle thing at the top with ads we had before...though the small box we had to start with was the best so far...:) |

I understand the ads have to be there and that's fine. I can live with that. But putting where they are really breaks up the board. I have a board legend at the bottom and not you have to scroll all the way past the ad just to see it. It wouldn't be so bad if it was the same size as the top, the long rectangular ad, instead of this HUGH almost square thing. But I also understand its a work in progress and I'm very happy to have my free boards and I have no problem with the ads themselves. And if this is the way it will be, so be it. At least they are not pop ups like some "other" free boards I know of. Keep up the great work all and thanx for a great service!! |
