My friend gave me this and begged me to register to save the world, I can't believe he actually believes this is true. But his conviction has only convinced me that I should post this...

http://www.worldjumpday.org/

For the record, I know it's not possible.

Yea...wishful thinking at it's highest. Not possible from how I see it, even if the 6 billion people on this earth, and every animal jump. earth is just so massive that it cannot be moved with jumping.

Just caught another flaw:

Since it's world jump day, that means presue would be exerted everywhere on the planet, somewhat equally, thus cancelling out much of te outward force...It wouldn't even have a possible chance if every living thing got together on one tiny country and jumped at the same time. Impossible amounts of force owuld have to be exerted.

the website

That it would take 600 million people in the western Hemisphere to jump at the same moment.

I guess calling World Jump Day is better than Western Hemisphere Jump Day. :arr:

No deat is exactly right, that was my third reason for not believing it.

(the first reason being because it takes more than jumping to shift the orbit, the second reason being because the proposal that jumping will save global warming, without taking into account the amount of errors that could happen (it could not save global warming and just bring us cloaser to the sun)

But if we assume those two flaws are accounted for, then we can jsut say that if I jump from Hawaii ..and u jump from Poland, they are almost opposite sides of the world...and will cancel each other more than anything..and if we take into calculation that different places have different populations... who's to say how much more left or right it will go?

There's just too many flaws.

And JUMPING to save Global WARMING ???? PEOPLE!!!

Do lifes problem's really look that simple to solve?
You think ACTUAL scientists actually left out "jumping" when they were researching Global Warming solutions?

This is the solution my unborn nephew would came up with 3 years ago!
