 Anyone here have it? I just got it for my birthday and It took me about an hour to install and about 22 to read the manuel. Just curious if anyone else has it. anyway if yah do, post char names and the "world" your in, since you cant have the same char in all worlds, that way i'd know people dependignt on where i get put. I'm a Mithra level 5 red mage, and i last have the same char at level 3 for warrior. i'm on the titan server.

Sheesh all these WoW fans and no one other Person plays FFXI?

 I think it is, I've been playing a couple weeks now, sure it might not be as graphical as WoW, but FFXI is pretty damn good.

 im not in for a tink sink as FFXI thats why i got WoW. although it doesnt require a time sink. it ends up happening by accident, then you noticed you havent slept in 2 days, you are late for work...for the 2nd day in a row, you havent left you room and you have been living off of mountain dew and cheetos and a wet towel to wipe the cheeto hands off.

i got in alot of trouble at worrk ^_^

 I got it last Christams but according to the manuel it is REALLY expensive....like 100 bucks the 2 or 3 month you have it, is it?

i liked FFXI when i played it at a friends house. wasn't really great but nice to play(but not to pay, thats for sure). then i got WoW, and it is way better IMO, just plays cooler.

umm, its not that expensive, its only 12.95 a month if you dont have extra characters and you dont play tetra master. i dont see where you got 100 buch in 2-3 months.

now if you had max characters (15 more) and tetra master THEN it gets expensive, cause then its 28.95 a month, because after the first character, they cost 1 buck a month for each additional character and another dollar for tetra master, i have 2 characters and dont use tetra master, so i dont pay for it. i mean if i wanted to play tetra master that much, i'd rather just play my FFIX game.
