 I just wanted to know the Magic link(tm), i saw it once, but i never saved it.

This can be closed after i find out, wont be much use of it afterwords eh?


[edit] It might be handy to include in the board rules since not everybody has seen the magic link or remembers it >_<

 erm, accually, its in the etiquette section of the rules: Max Signature size: you may have images and text that total 550 x 150 or less.



Quick check: Your ENTIRE signature (not individual images) must fit within this box.

No text greater than size 7, please.

Signature images should not total more than 100KB and Avatars should weigh no more than 25KB.

 O.o weird, i just went to that topic and click the magic link, and it brought the box up in everyones sig. I dunno if thats supposed to happen or not....

That's why it's magic(tm). ;)
The image link should work for most people, but the magic link comes in handy sometimes, especially if you have multiple images plus text.
Though text that wraps and quotes tend to screw it up a bit.

 staff shouldn't be immune, they should follow the rules they gotta enforce, cops aint above the law, even though they are the law. :r

They commit more crimes than most people, that's for sure, and they get away with it 99.99% of the time.
But anyway, there are reasons, one of which is that staff often add stuff to their sigs as part of their job that they wouldn't otherwise, and another is that we deserve a few perks here and there for all our hard work.
If DuffMan was paying us all $12/hour or so like we could be getting somewhere else, I might agree with you. ;)
So, we might double post here and there, or have a sig a few pixels over the limit, or whatever.
Tell it to the judge. :P

 It isn't as if the staff are massivly over the limit's anyway, and we usually let people slide if their sigs are slightly over the limit, as long as it basically doesn't create horizontal scrolling (which having a little bit over won't do).

I tell you what, my lack of signature can make up for the rest of the staff who have slightly larger signatures :P how's that? :P

Having the magic link would be useful to have in my quick links or something, so i could check up on members with insanely large sigs :) might go add that :)
