 I saw a banned guy on the member legend thingy before, I'm just curious but what exactly do banned members see when they log in? or can they not really log in but its a glitch that they show up the member legend thing.

 There is an error message saying that they are not permitted to see the board. Much in the same way as you'd see a message if you tried to access a forum you don't have permission to see (such as the staff forums on this board). I've not been banned from a forum, but i'm fairly sure thats what it looks like :)

 so basically them showing up on the legend is just a side effect of them attempting to log in?

 Ive been banned from a Forum called CRUK. All's i did is stick up for a close friend against a backstabbing admin. I proved him wrong to the members on that Forum and he banned my username. U cant actually do anything. Oh well all my m8s wanting me to re-join as another name but i said NO.

 Yeah, because they were actually on the board as such, they are logged as being an active member as such, so are added to the online list... doesn't seem like the right way to do things, but then at least i guess it could show an admin that they have tried to come to the board and at lesat know they are banned. Not sure if that will change for IF2. Can't see why it will.
