I hate Microsoft. It is a fact. In fact, I am going to switch to either Suse 9.3 or Fedora Core 2 permanently, although I will miss Win2K Pro.

Anyways, I have Office 2003 (latest version, 600$, got it from my neighbor).

But, I am starting to like OpenOffice, especially their new 2.0Beta version.

Download it here.

And, tell me what you think. :)

i only use microsoft 2000 Word. i think word is one of the few good things they have actually stayed consistent with in releasing quality software. i do use open office 1.1.3 for cellsheet and the powerpoint app they have.

i actually like word mainly cuz once u have a moderatly updated version like 2000, then you are good for atleast 10 solid years. ok 8 at most. but bby that time, other stuff may have come to outweigh word to make me switch.

Try Open Office 2.0Beta. Much better in my opinion, than the earlier versions.
