 From seeing the other threads of 'Any (insert name) Fans', I decided to start this one. I'm a huge anime fan, so is anyone else here an anime fan?

My favorite anime at the moment would have to be 'Inuyasha'. I also find 'Gate Keepers' to be pretty good too.

If anyone here is an anime fan, then what is your favorite anime?

 yeah im a bigass anime and currently the Secretary of the Anime Club at my College (Woot!) hmm... im currently hooked on Naruto and Full Metal Panic.

 Lets seel, I like Inuyasha, Wolf's Rain, Robotech, and a series i found to be too short because they stopped it after 12 episodes the Bio-Booster Armor Guyver.

 well accually, the guyver series never came out on cartoon network. though im trying to find the japanese version of some of these. When i got the money I want to get the entire first robotech series in the original japanese version, which was called Macross.

 oh ic thats cool yeah ive got all of naruto subbed... god its great. if someone says DBZ is like the bomb or anything, they haent seen anime lol. I like it, but theres stuff better. yeah i actually heard about it. oh btw naruto JUST got licensed last month so u all might see it on CN next fall. hopefully they dont screw the translation up like they did DBZ and Cowboy Bebop.

 I personally wanna see full metal alchamist, as that one looks cool, but i work when its on CN so I guess I gotta go out and buy it....unless i can find it on anime network...

 I didn't think the 3 DB series were that bad, but I have a feeling most of good parts were lost in translation...I mean DBZ's great if you like the whole "beat them up with an incomprehensible sotryline" thing, but like i said, I think It would have been better with a proper translations. Though one i want to get my hanbds on is neon genisis Evangelion, I heard that one was pretty good. And I thought the Tenchi Series's were jsut funny.

 yeah and battles that take half the seasons yeah DBZ is funnier in Jap. anyway (lol buu cusses out Vegito... good stuff) Evangelion is great, Tenchi got old after a whole crapload of "spinoffs"

 As far as i know there was tenchi muyo, Tenchi universe, and Tenchi in tokyo, and the first two were pretty much the same, just that one of them was the OVA.

 Im an anime freak :no:

Rurouni Kenshin (working on the Samurai X OVA's), Inuyasha (all 3 movies included, just saw the third), Hellsing, Fullmetal Alchemist (dubbed and subbed with no edits), Tenchi Muyo (back in the day), Cowboy Bebop (dvd), and Trigun (on [Adult Swim]).

I know ive seen a hella lot more, but those are the only ones i truely like.

 sadly i have a job, so i dont have time to make a costume, let alone get off for one. heh.

anyway the Quality of translated anime all depends on who you get to do the translation, because most translation places seem to remove the things that are good, now that Guyver anime i was talking about, would probably have to be edited to be put on something like adult swim... blood, gore, and a lot of cussing. my favorite kind of anime. heh.
