I have a question. Do you think that IPB users who once had boards on IF and then "upgraded" to IPB should still have a link on the forum directory to their new sites? I say if their forum has been around awhile, prehaps, seeing how they started on IF, but what are your thoughts? |

No. The board directory is for IF boards only, why should IPB users have their site listed in our directory if they're not using us? If you still have your old board then yes it can be listed but not your IPB board, it has no place on IF's directory. Note: just in case it's not clear, you is plural and not actually aimed at you Delta.

Any board used to link to another board should not remain in the directory, even if it links to another Invisionfree board. |

It's impossible to actually place an IPB board in the directory itself, only IF boards can be placed on. Since the directory is designed for people to search InvisionFree boards I presume such a thing will never happen. Edit: teh Duff

does it automatically redirect or does the board appear as offline with link to the new board or contain only a forum that directs people to the IPB board? I think the last 2 cases are absolutely fine since they still have the IF board. If it automatically redirects, you can probably pm the link to an Admin here so it can be removed :unsure: . |

But what if the board was offline and they placed a link to their new IF forum so that members know where to find the new one? Is it unacceptable? |
