has anyone gotten paid to take surveys?

 companies pay people or give out gifts to people for taking the survey for one reason. to get people to do there survey so they can see what they are trying to get. i have done this acouple times. Since im a marketing major that type of stuff happenes alot.

 Haven't done it online, but in Glasgow (where I go to uni) there is thie hotel who constantly have folks using this function room for market surveys. They stand out in the street and stop anyone that fits the age group they need, ask them questions and if he/she is who they want, they take them inside to answer questions. 2 of my friends have taken them and given money for it. One day I'll answer the preliminary questions right :P
