44 words a minute after typing a paragraph over and over again for 5 minutes. I took one of those arcade type of typing games and got around 253 words per minute after 2 minutes of us typing in the words with their cases (if the word was "Money", you had to type it exactly as that) |

I would say that I type pretty fast. Last time I checked it was; Average: 90wpm (When I am tired) Top Speed: 130wpm (When I fully am rested and concentrate) |

Not too fast so so for only using 4 fingers. I use the two middle fingers and two index fingers and the trusty thumbs not sure how I got into this habbit but I can't seem to break it plus I have to look at the keyboard when I type.

You guys know that for every error you make, you're supposed to deduct from your score, right? So 50 wpm with a few errors is really 25 wpm or so, and 50 wpm with several errors is more like 5 wpm.. I think I type something like 80 wpm, but I haven't tested myself lately. Some numbers and their shifted counterparts still screw me up and I have to look at their keys to make sure I hit the right ones. :/ Oh, and I rarely remember which slash is which. Most professional typists don't do much more than 130 wpm, btw, so.. |
