Not nessasaraily. Some new password technologies have a certain type of encryption the works with finger prints so only the finger print keyboards(with the right print) can open it.

I would be impressed if Invisionfree had this type of technology. But, as it seems, I don't think this has been a practical nor popular feature yet on applications or hardware requiring the use of passwords. As of right now, the most popular method of having your password is plain old typing it in with your fingertips and hoping to god it doesn't get cracked.

the only way I would ever pay for I.F is if you were allowed to have ftp access to your files....I know there are security risks involved, but there ARE ways around that!

Unless you have access to your root files, the boards are about as usefull as a gorgeous blonde who's wearing a chastity belt...lol

I would be willing to pay $40-50 a year "IF" no adds at all and the search tool became active again. $55 with the first options plus if the skin selector worked and we can install up to 25 skins or $75 for all of the above plus 1gig of stoage.

He meant, would you still consider paying for Invisionfree if it offered all the features that IPB has.

Nope. If I have to pay for this, I'd migrate over to PHPBB in a minute. It does not have a lot of the features IF has, but it has some IF does not (dice roller).
