>>' Not that DS and PSP are better than eachother. I don't worship systems like most people do, I like em all.

Infact, I havent seen anywhere proof that Nintendo and Sony are rivals.

Butasidefrommytwistedpointsofview...

DS for me, even though I dont have any of the games I want.

:3 it went online last month.

Heh, there is a PSP ad at the bttom of the page right now.

Anyway, al in all, the DS costs about half of what the PSP does, for a more durable and more clever system. For those of us who are not obscenely rich, the PSP just isn't even an option.

Also, all of the PSP's little gimmicks can be matched by the DS, although I still think they are utterly pointless on either system.

And don't brag about the PSP being able to go online, becaise the DS went on before the PSP. XD

So, graphics....graphics that cost $100 extra. Um...no?

If i had enough money, i would definitely go with the PSP, because of the graphics and because i prefer playstation over everything else. But it is really expensive and if you want to get it and have a bit of variety in what you are playing, youre going to have to spend even more. Ill just wait a bit and hope that the price goes down a little bit. Otherwise i will just have to take my playstation and a portable TV and generator in the car with me :P .

For the last time...

The DS has a chatroom. It can play music. It most likely will play movies in the future, since GBA did. The DS can acess the internet; it could before PSP. Graphics? Not important, in my book.

Oh, and those "drunks" are brilliant. The DS has the capability to play games that could only be played on the computer before (such as Age of Empires), as well as regular handheld games. Since the DS has "clicking" and "dragging" like a computer mouse, it is more able to support online Rpgs and strategy games. How is having two screens a bad thing? Tell me one situation where that could be a disadvantage. <_<

To put things simply, the bottom line is this:

Everything that is possible on the PSP is possible on the DS. The reverse is not true.

Once again, my opinion.

I would have to say that the PSP has the upperhand. It has way more features than the DS, plus it can even play Dvd's and store pictures.

it can NOT play DVD's. good luck trying to get a disc in the PSP.
it can play UMD's wich can have movies or clips on it. that's something different.

thing is with both handhelds, the PSP is more the multimedia device ( what i don't want actually  ) and the DS is gaming device. DS goes further in gaming abilities, PSP tries to get multiple things in one device.

so it's basicly a simple choice, do you want a handheld for (new features ) gaming, or do you want gaming in a way we already have had for years but also MP3 player in it and the ability to EASILY watch ( small ) movies or video clips with it?

the problem is for me though, that the PSP will also get a bunch of games that i want but that will only be released on the PSP, so i must buy an expensive device when i don't even want the extra stuff that comes with it :/ .

It's been over a day, and no one's caught this yet, so...
don't just put 'XD' for your post. It's definitely all right if you throw it in with the rest of your post, but...as for just putting it alone, that's stupid.

It's not discussion, it's not an opinion, it's not even a word. Try to post something worthwhile, discussing the topic, asking a question about something, etc...don't just put like 'lol' or 'roflmao' for an entire post, please.
