With my own Forum! You can do this already. It is called buying or getting a free host, then FTPing forum software(legally) to your site. If you get a host that offers Cpanel one of the options in Cpanel is creat your own forum. You can choose from a few different types. IF is the best forums, but they aren't the only ones. You could also get a host and have one of your pages link to your IF board. I think adding a feature on IF to do what is already doable with time in this case is a waster of coding, and coding time. BTW: Shouldn't this be in feature requests?

Posts: 883 Group: Members Member #15,646 Joined: March 30, 2004	I think Das is just in the same boat as me... if you already own a host.. there's no point, BUT it will be good for a lot of members that don't own hosts..and the good thing is that they'll all be hosted on the same site. So I may move my pages on to s6 so that they're all on one server :P..actually taht could be a bad thing too... i'll do half and half. But a feature is a good feature.. I'm sure I can find some use.

Smells of rich mahogany Posts: 7,114 Group: Members Member #34,712 Joined: November 10, 2004	Steps to do this insted of using a new feature 1) Go to a free hosting company (tripod for instance) 2) Create a new account with them 3) Setup you home page 4) Some where in your HTML coding add <a href="http://sX.invisionfree.com/board_name/index.php"> Link Name </a> There now you have a website that links to your forum. I see no use for a code to do this for you. Besides http://yourname.tripod.com is shorter than http://sX.invisionfree.com/boardname/page(or something)/index.html
