i am Duffman from InvisionFreeSupport and me and my team need acess to
the admin CP to check on how our upgrade to IPB 2.0 is doing and
according to our database you are the root adminastrator and we either
need to use your account or you to make us an admin. Thank's.


I know it's marked in the AdminCP not to accept this kind of attempt, but is there any way that it can be bolded, resized, changed to a more prodomant color, etc. ? I've heard of too maybe a board getting hacked recently.

 Any member of InvisionFree Staff Registering on your boards and needing ANY special access will ALWAYS notify you that you can confirm their identity by opening a support ticket, and the member of staff's identity will be confirmed through there.

If you are unsure about whether someone is a member of IF staff, open a support ticket, and they will confiurm their identity through that.

An example:

Your board is violating the Terms of Service. Please fix the following (and any other sections that violate the Terms of Service) and read the Terms of Service.

[links or comments]

If you would like, you can submit a support ticket and ask to confirm that I am actually from InvisionFree.

 It's just too bad that a lot of users of Invisionfree are teenagers who aren't web saavy as of yet. They get fooled by these pranksters who have nothing better to do. But, with a little awareness and experience, these will just become petty pests for you. I don't think you need me to tell you to not fall for any of these ;)
