Anyone Ever Play A Text Based RPG?

 I have and i love em...I found this one a little while ago, www.HeroRPG.net

Its fun...Its basicly an RPG you play ina webbrowser thats free...Better then Everquest or WoW...Its just somethign to do to pass the time and such...But i like em. I am not advertising, but i am wondering other peoples opinoins on this so plz dont ban me. So what do you all think? Do you like Text Based RPG's? If youve never tried one try this one, www.HeroRPG.net and tell me what you think...

 I play/played two mostly

http://www.darkgrimoire.com/index.php which is VERY RPG oriented...It's more about roleplaying and different classes working together than just leveling up and 'winning.'

For the more hack n slash, PvP play I used to play (not much now days cause I have World of Warcraft) http://www.nightmist-online.co.uk/nmsite/index.html

(niether of these are mine by any means, just play them so I'm not trying to get hits or anything).

I just registered at the site you listed to give it a go and see how it is :)

I played several, though I don't recall their names at the moment.
And then there were many that were still text-based, but had a sort of cut scene every so often for certain things.
I made two of them myself, one in Basic, and the other in assembly language after the Basic one was brutally slow. :lol:

 Lol, Thousands of years ago. This one is being Develepod with vB and PHP, so its preety interestting...Its still in the early beta, but everything is basicly working good. All that really needs implementing is more of a storyline. :)
