And I get told It's so members know admins are there but what sort of person would admin a forum and not be a mod with the Admin account?

 If you don't want this link, don't assign the Admin group to mod that forum. Administrators can moderate it anyway because they are super mods, they can mod anywhere.

For saving board wrapper space, there are several ways.

You all probably know that InvisionFree boards have a limit to the amount of characters that can be used in the board wrappers (which is 20,000). However you may use the following method to host scripts that would pass the limit but are still useable:

Step #1
Open up a notepad on your computer and copy & then paste the code you wish to down size in the note pad. Once you have copied it into note pad remove the <script> or <script type="text/javascript"> and </script> tags.

Step #2
Save the code at it's current stage as a .js file.
When you go to save it, you'll see a dropdown box called "save as type".
You'll need to choose "all files" in that box instead of .txt and then put in a name for the file in the box above, making sure to add .js to the end of the file save.

Step #3
Upload the file to a board that allows uploading, and/or a text upload host that will support this file type.

Step #4
Place the newly created script in your board wrappers (were ever that one script is suppose to go. IE: Footer, Header & Body, etc.) Now replace the red part with the URL of your script:

And there you have a smaller script then the default one. Please make sure you know that doing this may cause your board to slow down & you do this at your own risk.

just upload the Javascript file to your webspace, and enjoy. LOTS more scripts!

 Getting back on topic; admins mod most of my forums because admins are just someone to put there until you have someone to replace that mod spot.(I hope that made sense).

 They are mods anyway I just hate the fact that people make the Admin Group to mod Certain Forums and not others.

I did that for quite a while and yes as a newbie to invision I was no wiser to "how to" set it up in a correct manner. We all learn in time, hehe. :r :r

I only have the staff room as admin controlled now. :r
