Close any uneccessary tasks that is running behind your computer. Also, buy more RAM if you're still having slow downs. |

shouldn't matter what type of windows your using. Weather it be 95, 2000, ME, XP, etc. Even when this comp was a ME and a XP (still is a XP) even having like two or 3 programs raised the CPU usage alot, more then 1-20%. |

As far as I know, all windows versions that show that also let you look at the procceses. Just look there to see what is taking up all the CPU. This is what mine looks like Find something that looks like that. (Just end all procceses taking up a lot off CPU )

Ye i have that problem to several times when we just received our new comp i believe you have to restart it not certain though and nothing to worry about its not really harmfull |

I had that same problem when I check it was Firefox :'( and so Im using trillian sine I have mroe then just one IM program and Opera little to no lag now because of that
