I vote Phyton. It's just easy. and it has like, thousands of tuts. So, you can learn fast

Phyton, lol never heard of that.

Python is easiest, it has been descibed as "executable pseudo code", it has a very clean and eligant syntax which helps you write maintainable code. It is portable, has a large standard library with good documentation and can be extended with C and C++. It is ideal for prototyping as "Python programs are typically 5-10 times shorter than equivalent C++ programs".

Python only has 2 things going against it:

- Lack of awareness i.e. being overshadowed by more popular languages. Which is a darn shame because for web development not many commercial hosts offer good Python support.
- It is labelled 'slow' because it is interpretted. Speed isn't really an issue, there are tools/projects out there to speed up Python or you can choose to rewrite a slow Python module in C++.
