Unzip them into your windows font folder, close your program, and open it again. . . Works for me everytime in PSP. |

![]() Though I could swear I've had to reboot to get newly installed fonts to work in some programs for some reason. |

In XP you'll have to actually install the fonts, copying them to the fonts folder isn't enough (smart move Bill Gates <_< ) The fastest way (that I know of anyway) if you've got more fonts is to unzip/save them into one folder, then go to the windows/fonts folder. Choose File > Install New Font... (you'll HAVE to be in the fonts folder for this to work), browse to the folder with your fonts and choose 'select all' and 'OK' |

yup, but some fonts don't seem to work right with other programs like PSP... installing them this way will fix that ![]() but of course if you don't have that problem there's no need to do it the complicated way

That also works for me just fine. I copy to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\ and I drag the font in and it installs. Edit: And I have PSP. And the font appears instantly. And in SothinkSWFquicker. No reboot. |

I guess my XP is just very weird then, I could never get my fonts to install before... or maybe it was because I unzipped them directly into the fonts folder? I almost always had to fix new fonts with my font-manager (X-fonter) before, but since I started installing them this way I never had any problems *shrugs* I gave up trying to understand windows a long time ago anyway... |
