Well two hours ago I got a virus. Luckly using my knowlage, time, Linux, and some spare Magic(tm) I wiped the drive and got most of my files. Everything is mostly ok now. I just downloaded servies pack two again. Now two weird things are happening 1) I can't put the comp in standby the computer, and the big one 2) My resolution is stuck at 640X480, and my montier can and should be at 1240X1060 Anyone know why? Any help is appreciated. I will be logging on and off, so answer regaurless. I think the second problem may have to do with where it says "Display: Default moniter on" |

ack, that sucks ![]() 2) sounds like it's driver related...? Re-install graphics and monitor drivers is a wild guess...

your pc would still have been using the default built in graphics, rather than the grahpics card you have installed in your machine. by reinstalling the grpahics it would be able to use the card again. (i think) |
