Hiya guy...

Just a suggestion to avoid bumping topics on this forum (General Support)

Would it be possible go to setting in admin cp for the amount of topics that as on one page... and increase this setting... from 20 to 40 or something like that... It just that way members dont seem to want to look at the 2nd, 3rd, pages...

Like i said guys... Its only a suggestion... It aint my place to tell the admin how to run this forum... but this may avoid this happening...

What do you mean? So that members solving topics can see more and solve them? I usually look at the 2nd and 3rd pages anyways, as do many other staff so we can fix the mistakes made by some 'support volunteers' and solve any other problems we can.

The members can bump after 24 hours if still nobody has solved their problem and that really isn't a big issue if they do. It's just when they get impatient and do it 1 hour, even 10 minutes later.

If we adjust the default topics per forum, that would change it for all forums, so I don't really agree with what your saying. I don't think the bumping is bad enough to make it worth changing.

Hmm... I always thought that members can change their settings. Right? In fact, the option is right here. I have mine set high (I browse through tabs) so that I don't have to waste time going back and forth through the support pages.

Can't members do the same. :/
