My friend said he was, but hes stupid....

Google uses frames and I'm not annoyed by it.

 I really don't like frames. They can have their uses, but they are few, in my opinion.

 Frames are yesterdays news. The only real benefit of them is that they can be set up with the navigation and or logo in their own frame, meaning they wouldn't be downloaded with each page change. But if the images used for these are compressed properly there is no need for frames. They cause compatibility probs with different browsers and more with search engines - search engine might find the address of a minor frame instead of the frameset page. Layers is the way forward.

 Frames are good for most sites. (When used the right way)
Frames are faster in the building prossec, and easier (I think) that tables.
(I used them when I started, think most people start with it)
