 Something is wronf with the rules.

Someone change my sig an avater to this

Please observe the signature and avatar size limits in the Board Rules.

I checked the limints for that stuff and it was ok. Why was this change to this? The sig is only 300x100. The limit is 550x150

 That image is too large in filesize. All images in signitures should be around or under 100KB, that image is over 100KB. It does say that in the rules if you read carefully



Board rules
 
Max Signature size: you may have images and text that total 550 x 150 or less.

    * Quick check: Your ENTIRE signature (not individual images) must fit within this box.

    * No text greater than size 7, please.

    * Signature images should not total more than 100KB and Avatars should weigh no more than 25KB.



At least I think that would be why that was removed

 No worries.
You may have put that image in your sig before those filesize limits were added to the rules.
There was a topic somewhere about the update, I believe, and there's a post by me in the Guide to Posting topic as a reminder.
