I went on some french forum to practice my french..and some girl messaged me and siad "hey im from canada too!" ..and then we started chatting and she realized my french is horrible and I dont have a mic and now i have to call her so that she can hear my voice.... i checked her pics and got her to talk on HER mic..so i know for sure she's a girl..... but doesn't it feel freaky to be calling people up that u met on the net?? Or is it just me that feels uncomfortable about it? either way im gonna call..cuz i dont give a firetruck about my gut-instincts....but all signs point to no. ...oh and its not b/c i want a gf or any of that ..cuz i dont , theres no love interest so dont get that mixed up. Although on the other hand, if it was a guy I wouldn't call...well actually i would just to practice my french. ...i jsut dont feel right about it for some reason..but want to do it b/c its so illogical to feel this way... |

webcam is just as freaky! I look at that worse...that's jsut an excuse to look at someone for long periods of time...which, frankly, there is no excuse for, unless she's a supermodel....doing magic tricks....with explosions in the background....and a puppy......the puppy has to be doing tricks too though. Maybe THEN i'd understand. At least by calling u learn something :P. |

Nothing wrong with calling people you meet online. I've done it lots of times. Even met a few of them in person, but that's a different story. Make them call every other time or something if it's long distance though.

I've got this skype thingie on my comp... and the first time using it I felt SO weird, even though I was talking to my friend I've known for 10 years... I just felt silly with the headset and all Got used to it very quickly though. To be honest I'd feel more nervous or inhibited talking with people on msn for the first time... once I've talked to them and found out if we click or not I wouldn't mind talking on the phone. I've met some of my online friends in real life too, at it was so great! I would never set up a date with someone from a chatroom though (not that I go to any, but you get the general idea  )... I guess it depends a lot on how and where you meet people and how well you feel you know them. |

My opinion is mixed. It feels cool to talk to someoen you met on the net, right? It does. But, it has its downsides. They could be Michael Jackson, for all you know. I wouldn't call anyone on the net... |

Call her i founded my girlfriend through a IF board (thanks IF  ) i am the typ of person who doesnt let itself beaten up or whatsoever by a stranger. So we had contact for like 3 months and we sended each other piccy's and we called. But we decided that it was time to meet so we did.  It went from wow to WOW So my tip is just call and talk abit about school or whatever you want and what she like off course. Another tip: Make a board together then you get really close if you do well |

Seth's phone call was nice.  I thought it was Rory at first, simply because he was the one threatening to call, not Seth. :blink:Then of course there was the lack of cute British accent so of course it had to be Seth, who else is obsessed enough? :angel:I say call.. which you apparently are already? |
