I really need to know exactly which one would have the better graphic cards to get and by how much better that one would be because I did recently get an Ati Radeon 9800 pro, but I think I may have been better off with the Geforce. I hear some clicking sounds sometimes in my Hp computer, and I am not sure if it woul dbe coming from the card or not, but the sounds sometimes get annoying, but other times it doesn't make any sounds at all. But what would you prefer the most of the 2 cards that are made. Yea, there are different kinds of the Geforce and the radeon, but overall, which one would have the better graphics cards and how would you know? |

xslash ur oh so wrong. although the 9800 is good. its not the best ATi is hardware based and there driver code is god awful. Nvidia on the otherhand is nott only hardware based but their drivers are amazing. a 6800 standard non GT non ultra can own an x800 any day of the week. and even the x850 on certain things. top of the line is a 6800-ULTRA |

GeForce. For the love of everything, nVidia. Please. Don't support ATI and their terrible drivers, buggy firmware, lack of Linux support, and general crap. |

that geforce 2 is over 5 years old to. the geforce 2 is sucha good design, that all new games that are released are based off its architecture. therefore its widely known as a graphix minimum standard. go go old technology showing the new tech what for! hmm DDR2....i must have missed this (also PCI-Express is a given. god knows we need to transfer 4.7 gigs of info per second. i mean who doesnt?) |

I have an ATI Radeon on my laptop and it works fine. However I like nVidia more anyways, have had better luck with them (on desktop). |

The GeForce is way better in my opinion, although both of them have the some pros and cons. I have a Geforce and I can practically play any game out there. |
