Most use Jasc Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop for 2D.

Google either one of them two, I would recomend PSP but most peeps use PS cause there are more tutorials for it. =\

PS also costs hundreds of dollars more.

Try a Google search for "free photoshop alternatives" or something.

What happens you you take two parts gimp and one part photoshop, mix them together, and make them free? You get this the free alternitive to photoshop, made partly with photoshop.

I've used both (PSP demo came with the computer), and PhotoShop is much better, IMO.

If you want free, use Paint.NET or Gimp.
