How come i see some board that say they are powered by Invision Owerboard,with licensed to xxx website.Did they buy the board over or??If so,what are the procedures?thanks. |

http://www.invisionboard.com They purchased that. InvisionFree and IPB are totally different things. |

Invisionfree is uses the Invision Power Board software as a basis for its system. Invision Power Board itself is a product that you can buy and install for yourself on your website. Invisionfree simply allow you to run a forum without the hassle of doing so. |

Our version of IPB is licensed to InvisionFree, we just chose not to display that line. |
