 My forum board is really really slow everyday I love everything about Invisionfree and I know all the Staff are working really hard to make it the best forums and add many features!
I heard something where Duffman said Speed Server changes to make the forums really fast, well my forum takes like 2 mins to load each page.. I was wondering why it takes so slow and will it be much faster when like skins will be ready and stuff?


I love invisionfree and I just want to know if the boards will be faster soon?

 Well yes i personaly think that the boards will be fatser when Duffman has finished the upgrades.I really think that it is because it is of the upgrades currently being set up that it is going slow.

 Well they are fast for me atm, but i think he was talking about a few mins ago.I'm also on 56k and it's going pretty fast! Hopefully i will get broadband soon ^_^

I am a Comcast cable customer (Comcast cable TV) and I'm on the 1.5 MB/128 KB plan (downstream/upstream).

 Actually, I've found out that I've been getting somewhere between 1.1 to 1.3 MB/s downstream according to BandwidthPlace.com's speedtest.

 Lol wow, this disintegrated into a chest-beating "my internet is faster than yours" debate.

Here's the bottom line:
The MySQL 4 upgrade helped the server a LOT. Now all we need to do is buy some more RAM for the server. Eventually, when everything is ironed out and you give us money, we'll be buying several servers of our own. This will eliminate downtime completely... except in the case of nuclear attack by Iraq or North Korea, in which case you will probably have other things on your mind than downtime ;)

Right, if they targeted Maryland (USA), DuffMan and I would have other things to worry about. But I'm not saying that they are or that any one is going to do anything.
