Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception

FROM THE PUBLISHER
Criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl is back...and so is his brilliant and dangerous enemy, Opal Koboi. At the start of the 4th adventure in the series, Artemis has no memory of the fairy people and has returned to his unlawful ways. He is preparing to steal a famous painting from a German bank, having no idea that his old rival, Opal, has escaped from prison and is exacting her revenge on all those who put here there, including Artemis.
Meanwhile in the Lower Elements, Opal has planted a trap for Captain Holly Short and Commander Root of the LEPrecon fairy police. Although Holly is framed for a heinous crime she did not commit, her only concern is Artemis's safety. Can Holly prove the accusations false? Has Artemis finally been outsmarted, faced with a world he does not believe in?

FROM THE CRITICS
Publishers Weekly
Popular series continue to take readers far and wide with some favorite escorts. In the fourth adventure about the teen criminal mastermind, Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception by Eoin Colfer, fans can cheer that the antihero did not retire, as he had threatened in The Eternity Code. However, his career is now in peril because all memory of the fairy people (even the wicked Opal Koboi) has been erased from memory; and Opal has framed Capt. Holly Short for the murder of Commander Root of the LEPrechon fairy police. Copyright 2005 Reed Business Information.

Anyone else out there read it?

I love this series ^__^ It's right up there with Harry Potter for me. I really want to get the next book. I knew as soon as I finished the Eternity Code (That was the name of the last one right? I'm so forgetful) that Eoin Colfer set the series up for a new one. I found out today that it came out though. I so hope I can get it tomorrow ^__^

Yeah, I've read all of his books but the Wish List and I loved them all. The Opal Deception was sweet and I'm currently reading it the third time. Has anyone else read it yet?
