MSN Messenger users beware..; spyware/virus..

 If, using MSN and anyone of your online friend's send you a message along these lines...

Do not click the link.. It apparently leads to a spyware site, and will infect your MSN Messneger if you run the program.. Just a warning..

 ya, I received a message like that from a friend of mine a week or so ago. Funny enough, he's portuguese so saying something english was surprising so I didn't click it.
The person on the other side is also aware the message was sent even though they didn't 'actually' send it.

 Well the fact that email=your@email.com is in there is pretty obvious your e-mail is being submutted somehow, but not everyone knows that.

Dosent matter, im a trillian user also, yet i've still gotten it once.

This is kinda old, but new. Theres been more annoying ones, but they are all still basically the same. I got a message early this morning from one of those stupid things from one of my recently added contacts.

They record your messages, and add spyware (Wild Tangent, WeatherBug and Viewpoint Media Player for example, and something called AOD, AOL On Desktop. These are all added on whether or NOT you say yes to those things by the way). <_<



That's why I normally DON'T use AOL Instant Messenger on anything but buisness. ^_^

So there's viruses going around, atleast they're not PROMOTING it like AOL does by force.

And besides, most people are more than careful, with Bropia going around.

o.O' and thanks for the warning, I didn't know of this myself.
