 Why does everyone throw a fit when their forum is down for five minutes a day, once a month? Even for several hours, it seems pretty stupid. Consider how much downtime InvisionFree has compared to some other hosts, even paid. IF has excellent uptime, especially for a free host. I challenge anyone to find a forum host that 1. charges nothing, 2. has as many features, and 3. has such great support and service.

Before anyone even notices the servers are even slow, Duffman already knows, and he's fixing it! So just give him the time he needs to do it. All the worthless topics just slow the process down, and in my opinion, border onb Spam.

 I agree, people should apreceate what they are getting.
Offcource its not fun if your forum won't work for a couple of hours, but hey, be happy you have such a great forum for free.

Looking at the topics you there are about servers being slow now, I really don't want to know how much there where with that whole server2 thing :unsure:

 Exactly. Whats a few minutes of down time going to hurt? No one, all these impatient people who dont appreciate what they're getting really tick me off. I mean, all the staff at IF aren't even getting paid, they're just doing it because they want to. They could choose to quit at any moment, then where would you go complain.

Sorry for the awefull rant, I'm still tired.

You would think that since IF does everything for you (besides the impossible, which they probably try anyways), people would be thankfull for it.


Go buy an IPB board of the same version, and get a server of the same capabilities, then you tell us which one you want to keep for as long as you want. IF does a great job, they should have a vacation after IF 2.0 comes out.
Except Seth, his brain is always on vacation, thats why he is such an ebul admin.....just kidding <.<

 I agree with you Dennis, people need to realize that what they are getting is free and paid for by donations and a small intrusive ad. The uptime is incredible, and along with the features, makes IF the greatest forum host out there.
