 I am rather annoyed. I to register to a board using a valid yahoo email address and I never got the validation link since the admin wants to validate the user before letting the person in.

The email address I provided was valid but I never got the validation link. Never. What's going on? I have to try a third time but now use my hotmail account.

 you dont get validation emails for registering new boards anymore, so validation is not required anymore for new registration.

 Maybe I should have made myself more clear. I am trying to register to a board that is already set up. That is, the admin of the board has to validate me (like when I had to set up my account here as VrakPrime2) and I got a link in the email telling me to click on it.

Here are the details:

The forum is:

The Order of The Seraphim

The admin is Praetor

I have not, as of yet, received the validation links from the "Order" board, even though I set up three different accounts. The emails I provided were valid. The first two I used were my yahoo account and, in fact, the email for the last account "Vrak33" was the exact same email that I provided in order to register here a hotmail account.

I'm really getting frustrated at this whole process. I have a different account "Vrak" at the UTP board

and I am also the admin at this board:

Any ideas as to what is going on? Is it the admin? Is it me? Rest assured I entered all the information in very carefully when I went to create a new account. I appreciate the feedback so far but I'm really stuck as to what is going on.

 he has it set for ADMIN validation (which means that he validates the accounts)

Okay. So now he needs to grant me permission before I can view the boards. So it is an admin problem then?

 *MonkeyPants asks you to tell him to go to Admin cp > manage user groups >edit group.

ask him if can view board is set to "yes"
